Hello! Long time no speak...

With all this doom and gloom around we all sat down here at InFX and said what can we do for our customers? So we thought why not give all our customers, who are on our latest InFX 2009 platform, a free upgrade to our InFX Business solutions.

I bet you have been wondering how you tap into all this facebook and social networking stuff, well we can solve that for you. InFX bring new electronic potential to 900 year old Cathedral

InFX already designed, built and support the present Chichester Cathedral website, now we are undertaking a much larger online project that dwarfs the original website and most others...  "We are absolutely delighted to have won this business, especially in the present financial climate. This means we will be taking on an extra software developer and content designer to make sure we deliver this state of the art system on time" said Marc Woodhead, InFX Managing Director.

The first phase of the new system will be made up of several Professional Marketing Edition websites and InFX Professional eCommerce (now in its fourth generation) to allow the Cathedral to sell all of their shop merchandise online.

The whole system InFX are producing will include 6 websites, customer relationship management, eCommerce and box office ticket facilities for all. This will allow all parties connected with Cathedral, being the Cathedral Restoration Trust, Friends, Enterprises, along with Chichester Festivities to sell online, collect donations, promote all up and coming events and hospitality opportunities. Ruth Poyner, Cathedral spokesperson said:  "We are very pleased to be working with Marc and his team at InFX on this important project.  This new development will help us communicate with many more people than before, making the Cathedral ever more accessible.  In a similar vein, developing our retail and commercial activities generates much needed revenue that enables us to keep admission to the Cathedral completely free of charge."

"This has been in the planning for over a year now, and it's good to see Chichester Cathedral and its partners looking at an online solution like this, that will give many more members of public, in Chichester and further afield, a chance to see what's on, at the same allowing them to book their tickets from the comfort of their own homes. Also, past visitors to Chichester Cathedral will be able to visit the fabulous cathedral shop and buy from their extensive range of online merchandising" said Nick Silk, InFX Commercial Director.

The new eCommerce system will be up and running by May this year and the new event booking system will be launched in September.
